Four19 Weddings is a boutique destination wedding planning studio specializing in luxury weddings across some of the world’s most breathtaking locations: Costa Rica, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. We provide comprehensive planning, design, and production services for couples seeking an unforgettable, highly personalized celebration.
Where are you based?
Our team is proudly international. We are based between the beautiful Pacific coast of Costa Rica and Madrid, Spain but we work extensively across all our destinations. We have deep, on-the-ground knowledge and trusted partnerships in each location to ensure seamless planning and flawless execution.

Do you offer partial planning or day-of coordination?
Our specialty is full-service planning to ensure a high standard of quality and experience. However, we occasionally offer partial planning or wedding consulting for couples who have already started the process or want to plan some aspects themselves. These are offered on a case-by-case basis depending on the location and complexity of the event.
How do I choose the right destination for my wedding?
We help guide you based on your vision, guest count, budget, seasonality, and travel preferences.
Costa Rica, Guatemala & Nicaragua: Ideal for jungle, beach, or colonial charm with a laid-back vibe.
Italy & Spain: Romantic, historical, and rich in culture—perfect for food and wine lovers.
Portugal: Trendy yet traditional, known for its coastline, castles, and warm hospitality.
Do you work with local vendors in each destination?
Yes! We have curated, trusted vendor networks in every location. From florists to photographers to chefs, we only work with professionals who match our quality standards and understand the local nuances of each destination.
How far in advance should we start planning?
We recommend starting 12 to 18 months in advance for the widest venue and vendor availability in Latin American countries. For specific European locations, particularly in places that are high demand such as Tuscany or Puglia, we recommend starting your planning more than 18 months in advance to ensure availability in high-demand locations or dates. However, we’ve also pulled off stunning weddings in as little as 3–6 months, so there is always tiime!
Can you help us plan other events during our wedding weekend?
Absolutely. We can design and coordinate welcome parties, rehearsal dinners, excursions, brunches, and other custom experiences. Our goal is to create an immersive and unforgettable wedding weekend.
Do you help guests with travel and accommodations?
We ofer travel advisor services as part of our offering (these services are generally included to you and your guests at no additional cost!)
What is the cost of working with Four19 Weddings?
Our planning fee varies depending on the destination, guest count, and complexity of the event. On average, full-service planning begins at:
Central America (Costa Rica, Guatemala, Nicaragua): Starting at $5,000 + tax
Europe (Italy, Spain, Portugal): Starting at €7,000 + tax
We provide customized quotes after our initial consultation.
Do you work with all budgets?
We work with clients who value high-quality experiences and are investing realistically in a destination wedding. While we are conscious of your budget, most of our weddings fall in the $50,000–$150,000+ range depending on location and guest count.

Four19 Weddings has planned over 250 weddings across multiple countries since our founding. Each wedding is unique, but our signature style blends seamless logistics, meaningful design, and heartfelt storytelling.

After learning about your vision and needs, we’ll send a proposal and preliminary budget to give you a general idea of the costs involved with what you are planning.
Once the agreement is signed and deposit paid, we begin planning!
