California Weddings / Meleesa & Maria in Paso Robles

So, we don't normally do weddings in the US, but Meleesa & Maria's unique Paso Robles celebration was an exception. It just so happens Meleesa is one of my dearest and closest friends... so helping her and Maria with their wedding was something that I really, really, really wanted to do!

After much searching, the girls decided on a perfect venue, Maria's uncle Joe's house in Paso Robles. Set in the outskirts of the town, amid vineyards and rolling hills (that remind me so much of Tuscany), and with a fabulous tree that was the perfects spot for their romantic and heartfelt vow exchange.

One of my favorite things about this wedding was the fact that so many people pitched in to help make the big day a reality (and of course, I did love the thrift store hunt for unique pieces - all the wine glasses and candlestick holders were collected on several trips to various thrift and vintage shops located all over the California coast), from hand dyed napkins, to building of props, to awesome hand sewn table runners and a magnificent dessert table, friends and family all gave their time and talents to create a truly spectacular event that was a clear reflection of Meleesa and Maria.

This is a wedding we loved on so many different levels and I am so happy to get to share it with you!
