Sometimes, coincidences in life turn out to be the most amazing thing. Around mid 2016, I got a call from Ericka, the fabulous photographer from Les Amis Photos that did our wedding photos in Italy (and who is now also a dear friend!) to tell me that she had been hired to shoot a wedding in Costa Rica... we started making plans for their visit, as we would love to meet with them when they were here.... A few weeks later, I got a request from a couple interested in us becoming their planners.... A few conversations and a quote later, we realized that they were Ericka's clients (and they didn't know that Les Amis had shot our wedding!!!). Serendipity at its greatest!!!!!
David & George (who I am also now happy to call my friends) were so amazing to work with!!!! And their wedding was one of the most emotional ones I have seen. They were surrounded by family and friends, all enjoying the wonderful trip to Costa Rica to the max, and just so evidently thrilled by the commitment made by David and George. The ceremony, officiated by one of their dear friends, really did not leave one dry eye in the house (well, on the beach technically).
The reception followed at the wonderful Villa Punto de Vista, where guests enjoyed cocktails followed by dinner on the rooftop. Two long tables with gorgeous greenery and floral runners were just perfect; simple but beautiful.
After dinner, guests headed downstairs for THE dance party of all times (including a surprise presentation by George and two of their best friends that literally brought the house down & some wonderful singing by one of the best men!). I honestly think this was one of the most fun parties I have witnessed. But more importantly, it was an opportunity to witness a couple so much in love, and surrounded by many people that were just overjoyed at their coming together... LOVE IS LOVE!!!!!!!
