By far one of the most amazing villas in Costa Rica, there is no better place than Villa Manzu for an intimate wedding. Larissa & KC were clients one can only wish for (and wishes do come true), who gave us a bit of direction and trusted us entirely to create and produce all the details for their rehearsal dinner and wedding day at the villa. Seeing so much love in one place, a beautiful family with lovely and fun children (and, because it has taken me so long to post this stunning wedding, I am so happy to know that a new Kronbaby in son the way!!!!!!), set in a stunning venue with FABULOUS florals by Artflower... well, this is what makes us love what we do even more!!!

As promised in our May Blogging Extravaganza, we are sharing another wedding we absolutely loved working on but had not had the chance to feature on our blog! One of the things I love most about planning weddings is when we get to plan the wedding of someone we know, even more so if it happens by chance! When Sarah contacted me and told me her fiance's name, I thought it was a funny coincidence that the would have the name of the son of one of my father's old friends... I soon out out that it was not a coincidence, and Andres and I knew each other since we were kids (granted, we had not seen each other in quite a few years!).

I always enjoy when our clients want to think a bit out of the box, using deeper, brighter colors for their florals and experimenting with rustic and glam (wood and gold, I love the combo). The purple hues chosen by Sarah and Andres for their florals looked truly amazing under the soft lights that were installed for the reception.

I actually think that their portrait session is one of the most stunning I have seen, as they were blessed with a fabulous rainy season sunset, with a storm rolling in on the background... Leave that to the talented lenses of Sergio Pucci (photo) and Jonathan Yonkers (video), and magic is made!!!!!
