Andaz Papagayo is one of our favorite venues in Costa Rica, so we literally jump with joy every time we get to do a wedding there! The ceremonies in their lobby/lounge area, have such an architectural touch, you don’t really need much more to make it spectacular. But when you get a stunning couple , stylish guests and a beautiful day…. happy dance all over again!!!!

What I personally loved the most about Brooke’s inspiration was her desire to incorporate a light blue into the florals.. Being in Costa Rica and trying always to use as much locally grown flowers as possible, light blue is just not an easy color to come by… Except in hydrangeas. If you know anything about hydrangeas, they really DO NOT like hot weather…. Thankfully, Brooke also had a preference to have her reception in an air conditioner space, so problem solved!!!! Artflower created wonderful, minimalist tropical pies with lush greenery and white orchids.. with pops of perfect light blue hydrangeas. I must admit the results were better than I expected (and my expectations are generally high!)

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds had an impromptu photo session on the property’s purple VW Combi (another of my favorite things), which was just as fun as they are! Needless to say, this fun crowd partied the night away!
